Elevate your grain bowls with these sauces

I. Love. Grain Bowls.

I truly believe it’s the best way to repurpose leftovers into something exciting and loaded with flavor. Whether it be for lunch, dinner, or a mini meal to go, grain bowls are something you can make and elevate your leftover game. Grain bowls are the easiest throw together meals that you can make your meal inside your refrigerator while holding the door open. I see you, we all do that.

First, find your base.

Leftover rice or quinoa, pasta, or even a handful of greens can be a staple. Layer that on the bottom of your plate or bowl. This is the base of your grain bowls.

Next: Accessorize!

The more the merrier in this step. Whether it’s roasted veggies, leftovers from a previous dinner side salad, or a crunchy snack that your kids just couldn’t finish. Add these on top, don’t forget to add a protein!

Basic- we know this. #zerowaste

Here’s the step to add on. The one that will bring it all together, and transport you to a different place in a different time (hint: your favorite eatery on your favorite days).

Top off those grain bowls with a new dressing, seasoning, or dip. Choose the type of cuisine you’re in the mood of, and add a dollop of the dressing ideas below. Prep and Rally Annual members, you can click straight through to access these original Prep + Rally recipes!
