Super Simple Oatmeal Peanut Butter Balls

We all can use a little extra energy in this last stretch before summer. Boost your energy levels with these quick and yummy energy balls. This recipe yields 20 energy balls, so it will last some time before you’ll be running to make another batch!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Balls

Ingredients

-2 3/4 cups oats

-2 tablespoons chia seeds

-3/4 cup natural peanut butter

-1/2 cup maple syrup or honey

-optional chocolate chips, melted for coating

Directions:

Place all ingredients into a medium bowl and mix well with your hands. Form 20, 1-inch balls and leave them as is, or dunk them into melted chocolate for an even more delicious treat! Store in a re-sealable bag either in the fridge or freezer until you’re ready to eat.
